Sambas:
Seeing customized sambas on instagram is what made me realize I had the foundational skills to do the same thing. As a result, this was the sneaker I used to take apart, practice, and understand the anatomy of a sneaker leading my first footwear designs to be sambas with altered details. All of these shoes were given barbed wire stripes as well as a complete change of materials from the toe box until just before the heel. The thermochromic pair is my favorite, they change colors in reaction to heat from brown to pink and from pink to yellow.
